The investor should apply for "Investor Number" at BSE by filling CSD Application Form No. 1 and attaching a valid copy of the investor's passport and National ID Card.

In order to trade on BSE, the investor should open a trading account with one of the licensed brokers by filling CSD Application Form No. 2.

The investor should fill Deposit Application Form (3) in order to deposit the securities into the account. Securities must be deposited into CSD System prior to any sell transaction.

The investor should give buy or sell orders to the broker who enters the investor's orders in the BSE's automated trading system.

After conducting buy and sell transactions, the system will automatically transfer the securities from seller's account to buyer's account after completing the transactions' procedures within the settlement period (T+2).

Brokers shall send the Trade confirmation on the same trade day (T+0).

Investors can apply for "Online Account Service Application Form 14" to view their securities accounts at BSE. Online Account Service "eService" provides the investors with up-to-date information about their securities ownership at Bahrain Stock Exchange.
